Hello Everyone!
I ran away from home, but now I'm back. I need a real break from home. There's been a lot of madness going on. 1. My buildings fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, naturally, I got up and went down the stairs, but 2. by the time I got downstairs and outside of the building, I started to have an asthma attack. so, 3. when I finally got back upstairs to my apartment, and laid down my asthma attack had gone into full swing. So I took some Robitussin, and the last of my two inhalers, and 4 by the time I finally got to sleep, I had to get up, then it was Wed (I have yoga practice on Wed and Friday mornings), I got ready for yoga. I told my yoga instructor, who is also my best friend, what happened and I asked her if she would take it easy on me. Which she did, Goddess Bless her. 5. She had been going through some serious issues because of her boyfriend's mom, and I guess she wanted me to be there for her. So, I stayed with her. 6, of course, that's been since this past Wed, and now it's Sunday night.
But, I'm glad that I do have a good friend like her. She's the kind of friend that will take care of you and not listen to me when I started to want to come home. But I had had enough and wanted to come back home. (I missed all of you terribly). So, here I am. I need to catch up on this past week. I'll be posting my responses where apropriate(sp).
Laurie, I'm going to try to make it to chat tonight (that is if you read this before chat starts, if not, oh well) Now y'all know what happened.

Hi Lesli!
Well, the unfortunate part about the fire alarm is that it was a real alarm. A lot of smoke and fumes came from the other side of my building. As soon as I opened my door, some of it go down inside of my lungs. I almost fell down the stairs, but fortunately, I grabbed the stairwell bannister, and "held" myself up. After they found the source of the problem, (I don't know what really happened) everyone was allowed to go back to their apartments. But fumes and some smoke was still in the elevator car. That's what contributed to the attack that I had when I finally laid down for the night.
I'll try to stay calm. In a way, I can't wait until Christmas is over.
It's good to see ya, Lesli!

Well, hello stranger! I was about to write an MIA post to you! I'm so glad you're back, and that you're safe. How scary about the fire! Lea's right, it gets mighty quiet around here when you're gone.
Big hugs!
That's ok about chat. I did wonder where you were. Sheila was fine, and everyone got along. But there was a question about chat on Christmas day. I hope that your mom is doing ok. You had to do what you had to do. Take care of your mom.
I hope that your doing ok. I did have a chance to destress. I was just crawling the walls to get back home. It does feel good to be back.
Hugs!
