Hey All,
I am new to ivillage. I am a sweet little butch looking for friends. I am a bit on the shy side when meeting new people. Once I become familiar with new people I open up and become more friendly. I enjoy writing and at one time thought about being a writer. I would like to give you a sample of my writing. This particular writing came straight from the heart. I hope you all enjoy it.

LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS

Everybody is searching for that special someone to share their life with. What do you look for when searching for that special person? Alot of people look at the outside of a person. What is on the outside can be decieving. It is what is on the inside of a person that counts. The outside is just a cover. The real person is on the inside. So when I find my special someone, I will be looking on the inside and not the outside. That is the way it should be.
The eyes are said to be the window to a person's soul. The heart is the door to a person's soul. Some doors have been scarred, broken, or ripped from their hinges. Other doors have been shut and locked. Some doors have walls or barriers in front of them. If you want to know what is behind the door, just go look in the window. You might be surprised by what you see, but you will never know until you look. What will people see when they look in your window?
Relationships are a part of everyday life. Starting a new relationship is like planting a seed. It must have the right things and be cared for properly so it can grow and become strong. If it isn't handled properly or cared for, it can become weak, damaged, or even destroyed. There are some things I believe all relationships should have. They are: honesty, trust, loyalty, understanding, communication, patience, love, forgiveness, and respect. It takes the willingness and commitment of both partners to make a realtionship work and make it last until the end.
What is love? Where does love come from? How do you know when you really love someone? The answers to these questions are different for each individual. Love is the most powerful emotion of all the emotions. If two people truely love each other, they can handle any problem and overcome the storms of life as long as they do it together.
Love is being sensitive to each others feelings and understanding one another. Love is forgiveness after a wrong doing. Love is accepting one another just the way they are and not trying to change them. Love is never hurting each other and never having to say you are sorry. Love is giving and asking for nothing in return.
There are some things that I don't agree with or believe in. I don't believe in one person controlling the other person. I don't like control freaks. I don't believe in violence or abuse because it definitely doesn't sovle any problems. I don't believe in guilt trips, mental abuse, or emotional abuse. None of these things are love as far as I am concerned.
I am a sweet, sensitive, understanding and lovable person. I am honest, loyal, and faithful when in a relationship. I am still searching for my special someone. I know she is out there somewhere. When I find her, I will give her my heart to hold tenderly. Will she give me her heart in return? I promise I will take good care of it and I won't break it.
