Hi ting, I find it amazing going into the grocery store with an impending storm, at the first sign of a snowflake, everything comes to a standstill. It is like people think they won't be able to get for days, it is just too funny. Carol and I are going to a friend of her's who is celebrating her 50th birthday, her partner is giving a dinner at a local restraunt this evening. Tomorrow I am working 8-11 am , then our usual errands. But I am thinking we might hit the store after dinner tonite. We are suppose to get 4-6 also.

I remember when a lot of snow was rare here... Supposedly living so close to the Long Island Sound made it too warm here. The Blizzard of 1978 was the most snow I remember getting when I was younger. Now it snows quite often. In fact, there

Hey Ting!

It started snowing here in DE at 1:00pm. We're supposed to get at least 6-12inches. I don't mind either way, I have enough things to keep me busy and focused, if I want to eat something I can always order out. I went to Border's today to get a few things.

A new CD (Gwen Stefani) a few books, and four magazines. If I don't make it to worship tomorrow, then I have all day to nap, do my laundry and possibly make it to chat on Sunday night. But I'm not making any promises on that note.

Thanks for the great discussion topic.

Hugs!

Hi Lesli. I will definately make it to chat tonight. I've done what I said I was going to do if it snowed, I've been sleeping some of the day today. I needed to take a break from my home. The walls have defiantely been closing in. The best thing about yesterday, I was picked up by paratransit a whole hour early. While I was inside of Borders, it did start snowing, it was so beautiful. I had a nice evening last night, but when I woke up this morning and opened up my shades; all of this beautiful wonder greeted me.

When I opened up my window to knock the snow off of my window screen, the fresh clean air from the snow greeted me. I just had to go back to sleep. It wasn't the warmth of my apartment that comforted me, it was the cold air that did it.

Geez, I guess I'm romantazing(sp) too much about snow. Sorry, I guess it's the romance of the whole month that is getting to me.

Hugs!

Well, it ended up being a bust. We got maybe an inch on grassy areas Friday night. It snowed most of the day yesterday and off and on today, but the temps haven't been cold enough for it to stick. :-(

I was kind of glad though. Even though it would have been beautiful, it was nice to be able to get out and about this weekend.

Hope all of you who got some are safe and warm!

Hugs!

Looks really pretty, too.
