Worried about grad school
| Tue, 03-07-2006 - 9:02pm |
My mom e-mailed today to let me know that she got a letter in the mail from my first choice graduate school. She forwarded it to me at school, so it will probably be a day or two before I know what it says. It doesn't really look good, though, because if I had been accepted, they probably would have sent me a packet of information rather than just a letter. So it's probably a rejection letter, and I'm trying to prepare myself for that. I know that no matter what, though, I'll be disappointed if it does end up being a rejection. So please keep your fingers crossed for me and hope that it's not a rejection!

Even though it's best not to set yourself up for disappointment, have some faith. On the opposite side of that coin, what if you do get your first choice of graduate school? Would you be excited? Jumping up and down with joy? Would you laugh and giggle like a little girl? Would you hug your true friends? Call your girlfriend up and tell her the good news? Would you tell us the good news?
Have faith and if you do pray, pray. Even if you don't get what you want, pray anyway. The Creator sometimes says yes, maybe, not yet or not this. But never no.
Hold on and have faith.
Hugs!

My letter of admittance to grad school wasn't a fat envelope.
