Good morning, Caly. Interesting question. Hmmmmmmmmm,

"As a woman and a member of the GLBT community, what do you see as your role in the world?
Do you have a role model? Any goals for your lifetime?"

Ans. Well, as a man (lol) I see my role in the world as being a gentleman. A gentleman that loves, adores and cares for women. I know that women can protect themselves, it would be silly to think that I can protect them all. I know I can be a good example, to myself or just by some strange fluke of chance, to an adolescent that is facing or dealing with the same issues that I'm facing as a transgender. And be able to or at least try to answer all of his or her question. And be the best trans man that I can be. (Doesn't that sound like a slogan(sort of)from the Army) roflol!

At present, my only role models in what it is to be a man is my hero, Bruce Lee.

Thanks

Sebastian

Hugs,

Sebastian

Thank you for answering Sebastian and I stand corrected *grin I should have said As a Man or Woman and member of the GBLT community....

As for your reply I think it was awesome. Being the best we can be is all we can ask of ourselves.

I'm not actually a member of the GLBT (gay-lesbian-bisexual-transvestite, right?) community, so I can't quite answer from that angle.

To keep this going and answer my own question.

The best thing I can do to help the TG community is to help guide young folks that are discovering themselves as either gay, lesbian or tg. It seems that young gay men, lesbians and Tg folk are coming out at an early age. I would like to be there to be some type of role model. That you can be what you are and know that you are beautiful.

Thanks!

Good question Caly!!

This is a hard one for me because I am not out in my public life, or in my "family" life.

As a woman of the GLBT community I see my role as this: I try to be as honest as possible with people about who I am, although I don't really offer information about my personal life. I try and live a normal, respectable life so people can see that

Thanks for taking the time to answer Kacey!

As I mentioned in my other post to you, taking your time in telling the kids if they are young is a good idea, but you dont want them to get the idea its something you are ashamed of either because that sets up the wrong
