Afternoon All!

This weekend instead of posting games I thought I would try a different kind of thread.

Hi Caly, it's not so much blood work for my driver's license. But since becoming physically disabled, I have to get a medical clearence from my doctor to give to a driving school, to take lessons to drive again, safely. If I can prove it to a driving school that I can drive safely, then they will send my results to the Medical Records to the State of Delaware Motor Vehicle.

But since I haven't lost my driving skills, which is something you never forget to do. Like for example, throwing a football, throwing a baseball, or softball, or making love. I have to prove it, but I have to do it the State of Delaware's way, if I want to get my driver's license back.

Hugs!

Sebastian

We feel that it is important. And they always treat us as a couple when we are there and being treated. So we can be together during procedures etc.

"Are you 'out' to your physician and does it make it easier or harder to talk to him or her?"

I'm not out to my primary care physician and my OB/GYN yet. When I last saw my OB/GYN it was a quick in and out regular pap smear visit. She didn't even ask if I was sexually active. So, I didn't bring it up then. I have since learned that she has left the practice, so I'll be choosing a new doctor soon. I know most of the other doctors in the practice and there are a couple of other women who seem to be pretty open (one delivered Katie!). So, I'll probably choose one of them.

Even before I came out to myself, I was considering changing primary care physicians. I like my doctor but wouldn't really feel comfortable being out to him. I don't see him about sexual issues at all, so I haven't felt the need to tell him. So, when I start hunting for a new OB/GYN, I'll probably look for a new PCP too.
