Hi again Willa! Thanks for your reply.

Yes the upside of living as a minority, is having experiences that help you grow more as a person. I definitely have become more in tune with the world and what is going on in it then I ever was before I came out. Its easy when you are on the other side to just shrug and think, who cares about politics or the culture, it doesn't pertain to me. But wow its

Guess I will take a moment to answer my own question.

The hardest part of all this for me now, is to live with something I never thought I would experience in my lifetime, Fear.

Why is that no one was interested in telling me how to live my life before I came out?

============

my grandma always and still telling me how to live my life and i'm not suppose to come out to her. she's still asking me when i'm going to get married. she kept telling me she want to go to my wedding before she dies. Now that I can in the state of ma, i wonder who will faint first, her or my mother if my grandma knew. *grin*

but the upside of being able to feel so alive because I was finally being me, was the umbrella that made it all ok.

Its why though that I am so adamant about being "out" as much as I can. I am not going to let this fear stop me from living my life! If we roll over and stay in our closets, it just makes it easier for them to lock the door.

==========

Glad to see an activist in our mist.
Thank You. *SMILE*
Bravo *clapping*

Nice to see you in these parts!

Where do you go
When the wind doesn't blow
Are you still like the trees
Only bend with a breeze

Those who are lost... I don't count them as real friends. In a way, this is how I view things with my ex... she rejected me, preferring a shell, a mask.
