Question of the Week 8/7/06
| Mon, 08-07-2006 - 7:49am |
Well I had a question and forgot to write it down and now I am going crazy trying to remember LOL
SOoo guess I will have to change tracks... Reading the board this morning and Pam's comment about us, and Kim and Court's recent blogs made me think,
"Is there anything you wouldn't do for Love?"

Hi Michelle, Thanks for replying!
Its true that sometimes because we think we are doing it out of Love its OK to compromise on our principles or morals but really we are only letting ourselves down and also the person we Love. They deserve and should want the best of Us and that means staying true to ourselves.

My opinion has changed over time. Being married close to 34 years, I am no longer the doormat I used to allow myself to be, which has literally 'pulled the rug out' for my dh. lolol

<BTDT = Been there, done that.

Hi Elise, thanks for taking the time to stop by!
You are right that being in Love and doing things because you Love someone, does not mean having to be a doormat.

Not doing anything for love is easy, it’s the compromising that takes some practice. *g*
I won’t eat worms but roasted ants is ok.
I won’t break a leg but a broken window will be tolerated, it will be an inconvenient.
I won’t walk through fire but I will stand in the rain.
I won’t sneeze at you but I will take out the garbage.
