What's up with everyone?
Maybe you're like Caly and me, up to our ears in new school routines and work. Our evenings are full with homework, getting dinner on the table, chores, and the rest of the goodies that go along with domestic life! By the time we're done it's 9 p.m. We watch maybe one tv show and then collapse. The next day we get up and do it all over again! Whoever said our lifestyle is deviant is clearly wrong.
Give us an update and let us know how you're doing. Lurkers and newbies, we'd love to hear from you too!
Hugs all!

Thank you for sharing the photos!!! Very cool!
I need to come visit sometime, I have family there even. I keep in touch with a cousin and a cousin of my dad's over there.
I also love to watch the tv show Most Haunted from over there. We get it on our travel channel. I love how they keep the buildings from hundreds of years ago rather than tearing them down like we do here.

Ting,
We have been busy like you guys, just living life.
Carol, In love with the most beautiful woman in the world.
I've been busy decorating my older daughter's bedroom. Her birthday was at the end of July and she decided that instead of a party and for her big gift, she wanted her room done. She is very into horses and that was the theme she chose. So since she's been at her dad's house this week, Rose & I have been working very hard on making her room awesome!
First I painted two of her walls in a sage green color. I used that paint that makes it look like the walls are suede. The rest of her walls are a tan/palamino color -- also suede paint. She has horse bedding, and Rose painted a new headboard for her. We framed some horse prints for the walls and displayed her horse show ribbons in shadow boxes. Then Rose stained a peg/shelf and her horse snowglobes are displayed on top. Hanging from the pegs are an old pony bridle, a bit, and a crop. I sewed curtains for her windows and reupholstered her desk chair to coordinate too. I also ordered some real horseshoes off of eBay and they are being used on the walls as accents. Oh, and we put those white rope lights all around the room where the walls & ceiling meet. We added a few other decorating accents, and I am so please with how the room has turned out! She comes back home tomorrow and I can't wait to see her face when she sees the room for the first time.
