We don't have early voting here. I remember it, though, from when I lived in TN, and I did participate one year. I am all for it. Everyone who would like to vote should be allowed the opportunity to vote. It is difficult for some individuals to get off work or work around their schedule or find a way to the polls when there is only one available voting day/window. Early voting opens up the possibility for anyone who wants a say to have their say. It's a wonderful thing.

I'm not aware of anyplace around here where you can vote early, but I saw California on a list in a team board post, so I suppose there might be.

I LOVE having early voting. It runs just the same as voting on election day, but the lines tend to be a lot shorter. I can't stand waiting in line, so this works well for me. We have new machines this year, which are somewhat confusing. I expect that those who have
I saw an article about the new machines being confusing in the Memphis paper. That's definitely not a good thing. They should be simple, easy to use and everyone should be able to do it. We will see how that plays out.

I would vote on the regular day, if this wasn't available, but think it's a great idea and hopefully will get more people to vote.
