Wow, I don't know how to explain this, but here goes... Although I decorate extensively indoors and out for Halloween and greet trick-or-treaters at my door, I don't believe in the holiday itself. I'm a practicing Baptist and anything associated with... well...you know. Why do I celebrate it then? Because I personally do not view Halloween as anything but having lots of fun with the children. When a trick-or-treater comes to my door and says, "Wow, I really like your house!" then that's satisfying
I think that Halloween USED TO BE a fun holiday for kids, but it has been analyzed to death and isn't quite as much fun, especially for kids. I suppose many don't know what they're missing.
Hi cl and others, it has been quite awhile since last I came hear to do voices for characters. They are very sweet. As these are only a bit of what is happening, I feel the need to keep in touch with my friends here. I am always sending you lots of white light to keep you with the angels and hope that it is working. For me nothing much either. I just wanted to get out of the house so I didn't have to relive the times when I am blank or the vocabularly has not been doing much except for telling me that my brain is getting mushy. I went to have my blood tests so thst they will have them until the appointment in Hartfod at 9:00 on Thursday. I know how I look after that ordeal, so I am trying to enhance my skin for maximum when I went in and got it examined. I get a 30 day trial and if I want to continue I have to come up with some documentation, and if I want to cancel I mail back what is left and are charged nothing. It is a good way for me
Well.. I don't know any thing about it's origin or the religions if any that are connected with it or against it and I only view it as a supposed to be fun
We should keep it for the fun of it! Hey the stuff shirts can keep their doors shut while the rest of us have fun! Eventually their kids will grow up mad that they missed out and some day it will get popular again. My best memories were of Halloween and tricking with my brothers and sisters. We looked out for each other and solidarity was important. What would we do without ghost stories and other scary experiences to put life into perspective? I think the so Called Christians who hide these experiences from their children are setting them up for failure. We need people to fight the dark side of the world. How can they be prepared for that if they never experienced what being scared is? Halloween is a fun night to play pretend. I think they just don't get it and probably never had a happy childhood themselves.

Halloween has never been big on my list of holidays. I enjoy seeing the kids in their costumes.
