Hello again! I have taken a week off work, so I thought I would stop by and catch up with everyone again.

Life has been pretty hectic, if I am not work, I am sleeping or doing housework type things. The time I spend on the computer is usually playing games to unwind between work and bed.

I have been back to the hospital about my feet. More x-rays, more appointments. Now they think I might have a spina bifida and thus deformed feet since I was born. Actually the surgeons were quite impressed that I have the mobility I do but it seems my condition is worsening so I am hoping surgery will happen sooner rather than later. I have had feet x-rayed, my back x-rayed and I have to go for an MRI on 1st feb... I am going to glow in the dark at this rate. My partner has been wonderfully supportive but my family seems to think I am making all this up, for whatever reason, and seem to be content to no longer have anything to do with me. I feel bad for Sue because when the operation happens, I am likely to be in plaster for something like 4 months, I am not used to not being active and I don't imagine I am going to be too pleasant to live with for a while. Nowhere else to send me for a break so she is stuck with me....

The kids are fine, my 16 year old son now has a 21 year old gf. I have bought a supply of condoms but won't be surprised if they tell me she's pregnant at any time. Her family are JW so things could get a bit awkward.
My daughter is doing well, just removed another farm of head lice. Shame they have no commercial value- she would do quite well for herself.

We have got a dog now. We are not allowed dogs where we live, but this one is a pug so he hardly counts. He had been boarding at the kennels where I work, off and on for about 5 months. He was at the kennels more than he was at home- he wasn't like the last pug the owners had and they evenutally decided it would be kinder to let him go to a new home. He is only 2 years old, very big for a pug and has settled in well with us. Except for the time he stole my chocolates I got for christmas and made himself very sick. He came with bad habits -like chasing cars and cyclists- we are trying to train him out of it but we are learning that pugs can be very stubborn and deaf when it suits them!

Hey Ven!

It's good to hear from you. Sorry about the feet and I do hope that you get better. It's good that you are taking care of yourself. I do hope that your son is using his condoms and making sure that he doesn't get something he can't get rid of.

Sorry to read that your pug got sick from eating your chocolates and got sick, hope he's doing better.

It is good to see ya, try not to be gone so long!

Hugs,

Sebastian

(((((((Ven)))))))

It's so great to see you! Glad you checked in. I'm sorry about your medical issues. It's good that you're getting them taken care of, though, because it sounds like they could be serious.

I'm glad everything else seems to be going well, and that you have a partner whom you can count on to be there for you.

Don't be a stranger, 'k?

Hugs

Sounds like the usual run-of the-mill "Family" to me ! (smile) I'll send you healing prayers and vibes from the PNW.
