Caly, I wouldn’t do that if I were you. *l* Seem like it didn’t matter who is the director to make you think differently of what you’re watching. Just enjoy the film without thinking too much about who’s directing or else that will lead to thinking if the actors/actress was actually gay or not and than you’re might boycott films that do not hired actual lesbians to do lesbian movies. And your boycott would lead to less films being made because no money in it for the films and that would lead to no more films for us to watch! *l* ;-)
If I could just get my students to stop saying "That's so gay."

try this, when they say that's so gay...you follow up with "dar" right away. There be a few confuse look for a day or two... but they'll get it once they think it over. ;-)
Or you do this also...when they say that's so gay. you turn to them and say "yes?" The side effects will be confusion but it will go away in a day or two also...of course it goes without saying don't try this while they're operating a heavy machinery. ;-)

Take care too. *L*
Okay, Caly, I am going to audition for that show, cause I am the prime jeans and t-shirt person and I have been acting all of my life!
I gotta tell ya, though, I hear the "that's so gay" statement at least twice a week at work, and the kids definitely use it as a put down. I was even doing a game a couple of weeks ago, and one of the teams was kind of kidding the pitcher because they knew her. She stops and says loudly, "You're all so gay!" I stopped the game and told her I never wanted to hear that again. Her coach thanked me.

I don't know, rogue. I gotta be careful. As it is, I stop class and we have the discussion about what the whole situation is about. I think I tread a thin line as it is. I am not ready to be totally out at work and in my children's homes. I'll think about it, though, and I do think it's funny.
