If you're a "Grey's Anatomy" fan, you probably remember this controversy. I hope Washington has really changed and this is a genuine show of support.

Washington to do ad for gay rights group
NEW YORK - Isaiah Washington, who came under fire after using an anti-gay slur, will appear in a public service announcement on behalf of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation and the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network.
"We're gonna have — I want to say at least two versions of it at this point. We may broaden our message a little," the actor's publicist, Howard Bragman, told The Associated Press in a phone interview Wednesday.

I was wondering whatever happened with that. I love Grey's Anatomy and should be watching now. I saw TR on Ellen last month and he was cool with it. I am surprised they are having Washington back. Well, maybe not. Like big changes happen over night...not here.

You may be even more confused about George after you watch last night's show. I know I am! It's an awesome episode, though. Enjoy!
The timing does seem to be too soon. Sort of reminds me of the whole Don Imus/Rutgers situation and his apology to the team.
I heard about his terrible language, but didn't hear much afterwards. Was there any question of Isaiah Washington being cut from the program for speaking so awfully about his cast-mate?
We've only seen through season two over here. Are you on three or four now?
