Hi Caly!
In my search for books I found a site about erotic lesbian short stories. Not exactly what I was looking for but you won't find me complaining! ;) Took notes for future reference HEHEHEHE!
Also, found out about a "How to" book called '365 sex positions' Now thats interesting!
Thats a different position every day! It even tells you what tools you will "need" to acheive success so to speak. If that doesn't perk up the sex life I dont know what will!
The books mentioned by the others sound interesting too. Will have to read them when I have time.
Never thought about the "how to" books, but does seem advisable for me. I have read some stuff online, however. I am more of a "hands on" and visual learnter. I prefer my learning in a classroom that is conducive to free expression. *wink* I usually seek teachers that are good at what they to achieve success, rather than read from a book.
I do read a lot, however, but never any lesbian books. Didn't know there was such a thing, but now I will have to expand my horizons. Of course, this is a woman who didn't know there was "lesbian music.", but just thought music was music. lol
Hah! I've got so much to learn and so little time!!!

HI Michelle!
Thanks for answering. There are some wonderful erotic Lesbian short stories out there, which are kind of fun *wink
And I will share only that since meeting TiNG I can definitely imagine that there are 365 different positions *giggle
Hey Blue!
Thanks for the book title. Is that a "how to?" I'm, of course, interested in everything. I don't want to look stupid when the moment presents itself. lol
I have been getting a boatload of music as I look around and see what is out there. All you would have to do is look at my iTunes playlists and artists and you would know who I was!
It is so good to be back home, but if I could, I would do the camp thing most of the summer. I love being in that setting and there is a rush to feeding that many, getting it done on time, and making it taste good! It's like a few hours of boredom punctuated by an hour and a half of shear craziness and terror. Then we clean up, calm down, and wait for another hour or so before we start to prep, again. I'm sure you know what I am talking about. My kitchen help had to go home on Tuesday night, so I was left without any help. We closed the other mess hall and combined to feed about 300. It was very tight, and some cabin groups ate outside on a rotating basis.
I get to do what I want for those few hours as I am not responsible to be on any activity. Before I moved into the kitchen, I was responsible for our high and low roped course activity. When they cut it out, I moved into the mess hall business. Sometimes I bike or walk or nap.
It's good to catch up with all my peeps here. I am doing all of the laundry for the towels from the mess, washing my own clothes and my son(who came with us) left his laundry to do. I won't be doing much else this weekend.
What is lesbian music?
So much to learn but thankfully I still have alot of time . At least that's how I feel today. Other days I think I am going about all this way too slow!
Hey, mich, I'm like you. Always learning. I may be one step ahead in the curve, but I have so much to learn. A lot of it is locked inside, just looking for the one or ones who have the keys!!!!
Anybody who has more knowledge than this is certainly invited to this posting and that will be most of you! Well, it's music by lesbian singers or gay friendly singers usually more on point if you can read between the lines. Many lesbian singers who are not out sing with more nongendered lyrics and it seems that when they are out the music may be a little more direct. Ya just gotta read between the lines...
Singers, of course, Melissa Etheridge-my personal favorite-but I also listen to Melissa Ferrick,"Drive" my favorite song of hers. It will knock your socks off. Then there's the Indigo Girls, Desappear Fear, kd lang, Ani DiFranco, Dar Williams, Tori Amos, Joan Armatrading, Erin McKeown, Cate Curtis, and the list goes on and on. If you go to Amazon and type in Melissa Ferrick or Melissa Etheridge, you will see on the left side of the screen a "listmania." People post lists of their favorite albums in a genre and you can get lots of ideas. Most of the CDs that I get, I don't buy from Amazon, but from individual sellers listed on Amazon. The CDs sell sometimes for a penny or much lower than Amazon's price and you are mainly paying for the shipping. Even if it's not "lesbian music" I still get most of my CDs of other artists that way. I have never had a bad experience and it's way cheaper than iTunes even with the shipping.
I found a new singer, Sharon Little, who is from my town. I am not sure if she is on iTunes, but she does have a MySpace page. I saw her at a bar in town, and she rocks. She had a fairly large contingency of lesbians when I saw her, and my teaching friend, who is one of Sharon's best friends, also said that. She will be playing in Tennessee at a festival there . I can't remember the name of because I was consuming vodka and crans, and a drink called a whooohooo, whatever that was. She is also playing the ESPN concert.
I am hoping to get tickets to either of those events.
Well, there you have it in a nutshell.
Hugs
Blue
