Hey Blue!
Thanks for your suggestions. I already knew about Melissa Etheridge and K.D Lang. The others you mentioned have peaked my interest though. I will have to check them out for sure. I have been using Limewire to download songs because it is free. I hope you get to one of those concerts you mentioned. They sound awesome.
Oh , and as far as looking for the key(s) I get the feeling those doors will be opening up sooner than later. How exciting! You go girl!!

Hey Blue,

No, Out of the Closet and Nothing to wear is a novel, but it is soo true to life and one of the funniest things I have ever read.

Great post, Blue! You definitely have delved deep into the lesbian music scene. ;-)

Since we did a reading material Thursday Thoughts post last week, perhaps a music post would be good this week. I have lots to say on the subject since I am a music junkie but will save it for Thursday!

Would Bonaroo be the name of the festival in Tennessee that Sharon Little is singing at?

Thanks, Caly. I just keep getting more and more used music CDs from Amazon and add them to my playlist called "Women Who Can Sing." If anyone took a close look, I wouldn't have to out myself!! lol

Yep, I think that is it!! Do you know when and where it is??
I didn't see it on her MySpace page, but my friend says she will be there.

Oh, shoot, TiNG, I misread you as Caly. Sorry. It's late and I need to turn into a pumpkin soon.

Do you ever read Lesbian novels?
~No.

What about 'how to books'?
~Yes...photography, PC, Photoshop.

Think they are helpful?
~Sometimes.

There is always lots of letters to the editor in Curve that it doesn't represent all types of Lesbians, any thoughts?
~No, not really.

What about the Advocate?
~No.

Are you lucky enough to have a local alternative newspaper?
~I don't know. Probably.

Do you read it?
~No, I don't.

I read mostly non-fiction. I am reading Three Cups of Tea, right now. I'm really enjoying it! (I hate when good books like this end!)
