Okay I'm new here, but I need some advice. I'll try not to make this to long.
About two months ago I went on this online dating site. I had never done this
before, but I figured why not? I really wasn't looking for anything, but I started
talking with this girl and she seemed really funny and cool. At first it was really just friendly joking around. We talked about other girls we had met and she even told me all about this one girl she was seeing. We literally wrote every other day. After a few weeks her and the other girl called it quits and all the sudden she started getting more flirtatious with me. One night she gave me her real e-mail address because she was going to get rid of the online site. From there we kept e-mailing. The flirting was getting a little more serious, but still no talk of meeting or exchanging numbers which was fine with me because I wasn't looking for anything anyhow and I even told her that in the beginning.
Anyway long story short, 2 weeks ago she sent me this long e-mail telling me how she loves getting my e-mails and I make her laugh blah, blah and in the last 2 paragraghs she wrote her # and told me I should give her a call. She went on to say she didn't think I would call but she wanted me to have the number. She also told me I should plan to come visit her (she's about 3 hours away.) I wrote thanked her for the number, but didn't call her right away. I continued to e-mail her, but she didn't reply for a few days and when she did she just wrote "Call me, Woman." So I'm thinkin okay she doesn't want to talk to me anymore unless I call her. The next night I called, got her voicemail. Left a message. A funny one or so I thought.
This was 5 days ago and I still haven't heard back. I sent her a quick e-mail yesterday, kinda joking with her and still nothing. Don't worry I've basically given up. I've seen Swingers, I know about the 3 day rule on phone calls. But I'm wondering:
Did she not like my voice or something? (It was only like a 5 second message)
Why was she so persistant about me calling if she really didn't want to talk to me?
Even if she met someone else and fell head over heals in love, she still could have returned my phone call.
Anyone have any ideas.
I doubt anyone even read this much, but if you did I'd be impressed.

Hi Rory!
Hey Rory, welcome here.
I gotta agree with TiNG on this one. The three day rule isn't for everybody. I had a person email from the board two Mondays ago while I was on a camping trip. When I got home and answered, I was all apologetic for making them think I was just blowing them off. She was cool with it. There might be something going on in her life, although the command,"Call me, Woman" seems a bit abrupt for somebody you never even met.Give it one more try, and if you get no response, move on, baby.
Good luck. Seems like you might like this one.

Everything in life is an experience worth going through, I guess.
I think it's more of a pride thing at this point. I really didn't
know her all that well. At least my dog can never leave me. (ha)
I totally agree with what Cally said. I think you should call her again and see what happens. Then, if nothing happens let it go.
Hugs,
Laurie
