Hey ting, I know what you mean. When I heard the story this morning, I sat up in bed and shouted "Who do you think you are!?" I can't believe that she was let out of jail for "Health reasons" How outrageous!! There are plenty of people that go to jail that are sick, both physically and mentally.

I'm glad that the sheriff was put in jail for contempt of court. Who does he think he is?

Unbelieveable! For the ladies that like Martha Stewart, please forgive me, but if Martha had to go to jail, so does Paris. That judge saved a lot of lives and millions of dollars.

Thanks and hugs,

Sebastian

That woman (and I use the term loosely) is just too much!!

To quote an old saying...if you can't do the time, don't do the crime!! If she's "adult" enough to drive, and to drink, and STUPID enough to do the two at the same time, then she deserves a lot more than 45 days in jail! Pure luck no one was harmed or killed! GRRRRRR!

I do think that the worst punishment for her would be to not have ANY papers, magazines or other media permitted to write about her for the entire time either! A complete block, by law, on any "news" about her! See how quickly she disappeared in a cloud of fluff!

And no, just in case there was any question, I don't like her either!!

Hugs,

Chris

I most defentaly I think more people should go 2 jail for drinking and driving. I'm glad that the judge is not backing down 2. My dad was almost killed by a drunk driver. He was in a coma for 2 weeks. So hell yea I think she should stay in jail. This will hopefully show all the little girls that copy her what happens when u drink and drive.
Plus I think that its funny as hell that she has to stay in jail.

Yeah, I was appalled when I found out she had been let out early. TMZ.com had quoted sources as saying that her 'medical reason' was that she had been refusing jail food. I thought to myself....much like a child that refuses meals because it's not what they like, eventually they will get hungry enough to eat! But regardless, whatever her 'medical issues' were, they obviously weren't serious enough to send her to the hospital! So, I am VERY pleased that she must serve the remainder of her time in jail. She should *not* get preferential treatment! She acts like she's untouchable...what a brat!

This is some "poor little rich girl" who has used her name to create a media blitz to enhance her useless existance. I have no sympathy for this woman/child. Serve your time, grow up, get a job, do something philanthropic, or just fade from the landscape, PLEASE!

Just MHO. 'Nough said about this chickie.

If I’m correct, I believe it is close to 18,000 people a year that lose their life to a drunk driver. To me, that makes drunk driving a serious offense. Paris Hilton has every door opened for her yet with all the wealth in her family, she doesn’t even have a high school diploma. I ask why she could not have hired a driver. She certainly has the money to afford one.

I’m not impressed with the sheriff who let her out. I question the real motive to letting her out and what was really involved in that process. I don’t understand why in Friday’s court appearance, one of her lawyers or a member of the sheriff’s office could not provide documentation of her illness that led to her release.

One of the readers here said that she didn’t want to keep up with what was going on with her. I don’t either. But yesterday afternoon when I wanted to watch the news, that’s all they were talking about. It was difficult to hear about anything else going on in the country or world for that matter.

Someone like me is not even a spot on the earth to people of wealth like her family but as a free American, there is something I can do. I can not purchase a book that will most likely be written by her about this experience, I can avoid all Hilton hotels and not give my money to them, and I can not watch any TV show that involves her acting or participation. I’ll probably be in the minority but trust me; I’m not giving one cent to her already arrogant family.

Good point about Martha Stewart. I think she came out of her situation in better shape with the American public. She seems to be a bit more down to earth, and she has taken on some really successful ventures. I used to loathe her but now I appreciate her more.

Now that's a good idea...take her out of the public eye. You can tell that's what she lives for.

I'm sorry about your dad. I hope he's ok now. It's obvious that Hilton does not get the severity of her crime. And then she did it again - driving wrecklessly. She deserves to go to jail for that.
