I stood up for myself on the other board against the MAIN bully! And lo and behold! The owner of the board, came back and backed me up! She is an MSW and owns the board, though I am not sure who moderates it.

Anyway, It made me feel really good and got back some of my trust back. I wont go into details about the drama there because i dont believe in empowering meaness and negativity but I just wanted to share that here...my new safe HOME!

Hugs to all!!!

I'm so sorry you got so much flack, Roxy. You sure don't need that on top of everything else. I *think* I might know which board you are referring to.

At any rate, I agree with the others who said maybe it's time to let that one go. Sounds like it's bringing you down, which is just the opposite of what you need right now.

Storm what sweet advice! Question? what happens if someone here acts up (attacks others)? I dont want to invite a Bad element...is there a safe guard for that?

Roxy,

I don't lead this board, so I can't tell you how that would be addressed by the leaders here.

I so get what you are saying. You know? One can always feel INTENTION i think. Sometimes you get advice and it might hurt a little because what we are doing is hard...but you can always feel INTENTION.

I have not come across anything here remotely near meaness by any stretch of the imagination!

Hi Roxy,

The nice thing about iVillage is that our boards are monitored very well. We have pretty detailed Terms of Service. So far, we have had great members who are very supportive. Yeah, we do have disagreements from time to time, but overall this is a loving community. Caly and I try to make it that way, at least, and foster a supportive environment. Storm said it well.

One of the things that is also great about this board is that we accept those from all walks of life in all stages of coming out. I was still married and not ready to identify as a lesbian when I first started posting. Everyone was so welcoming and really helped me along my journey.

This is not a debate board, so if any

"One of the things that is also great about this board is that we accept those from all walks of life in all stages of coming out." Yes I love this part! Love it. I think its is cool that i did not get blasted for NOT being at odds with H (and having a supportive h). Or being positive towards male energy. Or being positive period. I love this place.

As an aside, I stopped getting email alerts to responces of my posts...i wonder why?

Gentleman??? Not by any standards that I am aware of. Nice work, though. And just what is it that you need to talk to me about??? This?

Your welcome, also. I can't stand it when people are less than anything, but civil.
