Good evening ladies, please forgive me. I need to vent before I have a heart attack or lose my mind. As some of, if not all of you, know I've been in school ever since May 21st.

I haven't been here half the time, because I've been studying hard. There are some nights that I've come home from school with a headache or I've come home drained. I've been busting my hump doing allllllll of the work that is required of me.

We have a portfolio that has to be turned in during a deadline. I've been going to school 8 hours before I have to get the work done. I've dealt with incompetent paratransit drivers, I've dealt with the unbearable heat. I've sat through class with some very rude and immature students, and every chance that they got, they disrupted the whole class, and the instructor did NOTHING TO STOP IT. I'm sorry for yelling, but I'm very, very, very, very, very, very angry. Now, I've done alllllll of my work, I've done it three times over. The last time I did my work, MY PORTFOLIO WASN'T TURNED IN. Why? My instructor was informed, by the chair of the English department, that even though the work that was done was beyond what was expected....... she only required a few specific pieces of classwork.

Now, please, those of you that have doctorates, I'm begging you, please don't get offended about what I'm about to "say". But it doesn't impress me if she has three doctorates, if you don't clearly explain from the beginning what specific pieces of classwork that you want, the first time, then DON'T COME TO ME, THROUGH MY INSTRUCTOR AND SAY THAT MY WORK HAS TO BE CORRECTED! And not to mention, that doesn't impress me that you have that doctorate!!! We have this little cutesy thing called "Bridging" that's where you can move on to your next set of classes, but you have to go back to finish off what you were doing to complete all of the required work.

My instructor had the nerve to say, or attempt to say, "Don't take it personal, you're not alone in this". I looked him in the eyes and said, "I'm going to take it personal, I've worked my arse off!" Now mind you we're talking about me, in high school, I just scraped by with just C's and D's. Now, I'm getting A's and B's. I told him, "If I have to work alllll night long on the remaining lessons, then they will get done."

Not to mention, the paratransit bus was a WHOLE HOUR LATE!!! picking me up, which meant, I didn't get home until 10:30. Needless to say, I'm stillllll livid about the whole ordeal.

Thanks for your patience, I apologize again for yelling, if I've offended anyone, please forgive me. There is no need to respond, I just needed to get this out of my system before I did something stupid.

Thanks,

Sebastian

Sebastian
