Have you decided on a design yet? Location? Are you going to reserve these decisions until you get there? The only advice I have is do not get a tattoo on your chest! Shelley got one last year, her 6th tattoo and she said it was some of the worst pain she's every felt. Shelley is VERY tough, so it must have been really bad.
I'm glad you like it! It is a little big, but so much of it is empty space. It only took about 45 minutes to do. Beware, it's kinda addicting. I have my next 3 tattoos all planned...........
2. 2 black female symbols surrounded by a rainbow tribal style sun on my left upper arm 3. Detroit Red Wings symbol on my shoulder (my Dad was a big fan and also a goalie in the minors) 4. When I graduate........an owl wearing a stetascope around its neck.......location not yet determined!
The other tattoos sound awesome. I was raised in Detroit until I was 10 and I still have family in the area. I lived right in the middle of the city...well, seven mile and Mack. That is pronounced De Troyt, not DeeeeTroyt as non natives say. I hear they are as addicting as my peircings! I was a huge Lions, Red Wings, and Tigers fan for a looooong time. I am thinking of getting one more, but I can only pierce in November.
I will get this done, and then I think at least one more after I come most of the way out and the dust settles.
Let see, I worked out and then I went to Blockbuster to get the final disk for the L Word, season three. The girl was very helpful, but the disc was out, so I picked up Queer as Folk. The girl is going on about how both shows are sooooo good. Duh, my gaydar was not working. I get about half way home and realize what was happening. When I returned the DVD, I asked if there were any "places" to go and she knew just what I was asking. Apparently they all closed down in Boulder. I would have to go to Denver and that is just not happening.
I strolled Pearl Street looking for family and only picked up on three couples. One male and two females. Then I came home. We ate Vietnamese food for dinner and that was very good.
Tomorrow is tat day with my daughter and then we are going to see some group that was semi-famous in the 70's and early 80's. DD said that I would recognize their music once we got there. I'm all for going out......anytime!
Dh is going to have a stroke about the tattoo, but I think that will be the least of his complaints!!! LOL

I'm excited to hear about what you get!

Yeah!!! I'm likin' the tat. Maybe a little bit too much for me on my first shot, but I definitely like it.

Sounds like a plan to me! I can go for the hip another time, if I like the pain and the look.

You will be among the first to know! Maybe it will pick up my mood!

Piercings huh? What do you have pierced?
Shannon
I've lived in Sterling Heights and also Harper Woods. My Dad was raised in Livonia and was a cop there for several years.
