Morning ALL!

I noticed lots of discussion in other threads about camo and tanks and tool belts LOL 3386a.jpg image by CalyD44

Anyway, I thought it might be fun to talk about dressing like a Lesbian.

Of course we do. I know that it's not real or anything, but it does give one pause. She also kicks a$$. And any woman who would shave her head for a movie is all right in my book.

Yeah, she's made some "different" career and personal choices, but I gotta say that movie rocks. I think I'll watch it while I work out tomorrow. I used to know most of the dialogue, but I haven't watched it in ages. The whole PT thing is very motivating all by itself!

Am I the only one that isn't crazy about that movie? I'm really sensitive to violence against women in movies........even tough bald chicks.

Yes, it is motivating.
One movie I watch over and over again is, A League of Their Own. I just love that movie.
Good luck in working out.

It's the military. The whole life is filled with violence. I do see your point, but it creates conflict that must be overcome and that makes the movie in this case. You are certainly entitled to your opinion, hon.

I love that movie and I used to live in Rockford.
"There's no crying in baseball" is one of my favorite lines and I just adapt it to whatever situation I am in.
I also really like "You see, the way it works is.... the train moves and not the station."

From GI Jane I love the line "Leutinent, when I want you opinion, I'll give it to you." Very adaptable for middle school. Also "Suck my....." coming from her. So cool. I hope this doesn't get edited, but it might.

Thanks for the funny memories.

Hi, I'm new. I guess I'll jump in. :p I've always loved blue jeans, loose fit or raggedy cut-offs and t-shirts, myself. I wear cotton unisex pants or shorts now from Deva, with mostly t-shirts or unisex shirts from Deva, even as a older woman. I hate pantyhose, fancy shoes like heels that hurt my feet. Give me Birkenstocks or Footprints! lol I like earrings, sometimes, and rings, and necklaces, but I don't wear a lot of jewelry at any one time. I always liked short hair mostly on me because my hair is fine and doesn't do well when it's long. I also like a good becoming cut that I can blow dry in 5 minutes and I'm done. lol I don't wear make-up or do my nails any more. Used to, though, before I got tired of all the bother. lmao Simple and comfortable is my motto! As to socks, I like plain white Hanes ankle socks and in winter thick hiking type socks to keep my tootsies warm. :) Dressy means newer Deva pants and one of their nice tops, with jewelry and my Patchouli oil for scent. lol
