What irked me about this test as well is that they claimed they tested along the Red/green color axis and asked people to choose.

My mother told me that when I was born she owned 26 Pink diaper sets and nothing else.

I agree chmod that even as adults, marketers assume that all women like flowery, frilly things.

You are right that Adidas does provide some nice styles for women. I shop at Dick's Sporting Goods sometimes. But, it is hard to find black running shoes for women. I like black shoes.

I used to buy trail shoes to run in because they came in dark colors. But, after long runs I sometimes ended up with bloody toes. So, I heard about this running store that advised you on shoes. They taped me walking and told me that one foot landed differently from the other. I was asked if I had broken my right leg. I did injure my right leg years ago. So, bascially I'm an underpronator by nature but because of the right leg injury, my right foot twists inward upon impact. So, I need a cushion/stability shoe.

I'll assume you don't know what underpronator is...it where the foot lands on the toes rather than the nature way of heel first, which is nature's shock absorber. I don't have a shock absorber. I run like a gazelle.

Anyway now that I've dumped TMI on you, basically I cannot just buy any running shoe. Currently I use Pearl and I love them. Pearl is well known in the cycling world and has just recently began producing running shoes.

Well, I didn't mean to give you an education about my feet but I'm a Pisces, so what else do you expect. It is all about feet and shoes. LOL

Some of the younger men in my building will wear a pink or lavender/purple shirt and tie to work, but they really get the comments and get kidded unmercifully. I don't recall any of the over forty set wearing those colors.

I get kidded if I wear a dress(not one day last year) or if I wear a tie. Don't know how they are going to take me this year after word gets out. I hope they don't stop. It's all in good fun.

Actually my XH wore a light pink shirt and a pink and grey tie quite often.

No, no, I appreciate the info. I am a Health and PE teacher and understand all about the pronation thing. I had a friend whose daughter was a "toe walker." My shocks need to be on the outside heels, but I don't run anymore, so it really doesn't matter.

I use black Reebok walking shoes, believe it or not, to umpire the field in. You can't run in them, though. Behind the plate, I must have a steel toed, steel intep shoe. Heavy suckers, but I had a toe crushed by a foul ball once. I'm a quick learner. Finding plate shoes to fit me is almost impossible and I have to wear men's shoes. I wear a 6 1/2 - 7 women's shoe, so the task is daunting. I think I will have this pair for life unless things change for women.

I didn't know all that about Pices women. Good to know if I ever date one!
