I have negotiated with the powers that be, being of the halo bearing type and all... and it is my duty to inform you that I have secured the moving of the sun closer to the southern hemisphere for at least the next 6 months... sooooo make the most of it, coz it aint gonna last. Summer is coming to meeeeeeeeeeeee. Hehehe.

My pugs are both females and are 9 and 10 years old. They are still very playfull and happy. We have kept their weight off all these years feeding them only so much twice a day with plenty of exercise.
They are both in good health.
My German Shepherd (Michael) is 2 years old this month. He loves the pugs and enjoys licking their heads.
The pugs never meet a stranger, they love anyone and any animal. I just love them. When they sit in my flower garden they look like little yard ornaments.
Sorry for all the gushing.
Hugs,
Laurie

Hey Ven, the work/study is the only way that I'm going to have to go. But I want to start NOW! lol!!
I used to live in a building full of senior citizens, active drug addicts and active alcoholics. Well, after I had gotten home from a long and drawn out weekend of house and dog sitting (both belonging to my best friend). I had gone to bed about 5am. I was waken up by the building's main alarm system. Well, I was furious, because I was so tired and grouchy.
So, I got what I could, thinking that the fire alarm was a false one, it turned out that it was the real thing, meaning a real bona fide fire. Toxic smoke was coming down the stairwell on both sides of the building. After all of the drama and all of the loss, my property wasn't damaged and everyone, got out of the building, alive! Some had to be taken to the hospital because of smoke inhalation, and some folks had strokes.
I went to live with my best friend for a few days, and she couldn't convince me that my possessions weren't damaged. (The poor woman didn't even know what side of the building I lived on.) Needless to say, I was in shock the whole time, and it didn't really hit me until maybe a day or two afterwards. I tried to watch the news to see if I could get any information about where everyone was, and fortuantely, I finally found out where everyone was, and what was going to happen next.
So, long story short, I finally went to the shelter, every day, and spent time with the ohter residents and got the information that I needed, and I got the information that I need to get some assistance with public housing, except I got something called Section 8. It's a housing subsidy program offered through HUD (Housing Urban Development)Program. I've had section 8 before, so I know how it works.
I was given the best place that I've ever lived in, and if I can help it, I will never live in a high rise, ever again.
The best thing for me to get is a 4wd, since I plan on driving in the snow, ice and rain, but thanks for the warning. I would never get a vehicle just because it looks pretty or because everyone else has what I want to get. I am an individual, you know. When I get my Jeep, I will use my vehicle to go out and have some fun, and be able to go where I want to go,and when I want to go. And so my depression can be slightly relieved. It's been 5 long years without having my freedom (wings)and I'm getting tired of sitting home and letting my life go by, and not enjoy it. And not to mention, I can't get a job without being able to get to work on time or at all. Public transportation is nice, but it's not always reliable.
So believe me, I've thought everything through. I do have some common sense.
hugs,
Sebastian
