Even though I think they should just let the time stay as it is, I've gotten pretty much used to it, but for me, it is a bit sad to think that evening time is coming so quickly, but hey, it's an hour's gain of sleep, especially if you're a on again off again, insomniac. lol *yawn *smile

I LOVE Arizona because it's one of only two states that doesn't do daylight savings time. So, unfortunately, I don't have much experience with it. I do like that I don't have to reset my clocks or anything. But it throws me off with all the t.v. programming. We have satellite so when the time change happens the shows are all on at different times than before... except for local channels.

Honestly, it's not something I give much thought to beyond when I need to change the clocks.

I think daylight savings time is silly and wish it would stop. The 1 hour difference messes up my body clock and takes me about 2 weeks to adjust to it. Plus, I can never remember how to change to clock on my dvd player and I've lost the users guide. During that time it is an hour different from the rest of my clocks. *sigh*

I love the "more daylight" concept, but hate having to set my clock back in the fall.

Well, it was fine before the Prez messed with it, IMO. And the exasperating thing about it? It's not really saving us much of anything at all, energy-wise, according to some energy scientists. He got some really bogus advice on that one, me thinks... :D

Actually, I'd rather have NO version of DST at all. Let us all just get used to the natural seasons and the amount of light we get when. :P

About satellite -- we always have to subtract 3 hours out here in CA. lol I really hate it when shows cater to the East coast, and don't repeat later in the evening, when we're ready to watch and not cooking dinner or doing something else earlier, like around 5 or 6. :( Our program grid just adjusted when DST happens, either the new or old version, to our local time. We just keep subtracting 3 hours from the announcements on the channels, so we know where to look on the grid, to set the timer to switch to whatever show.... ;)

I agree with you, I wish we'd do away with DST altogether.

I love Daylight Savings and wouldn't mind at all if it was made year-round.
