I can sit here and post on Lesbian Life board at my house or apartment and now that everyone knows, there's no more hiding.

Absolutely! I only have to watch out for my ds, 'cause I need to protect my buds here.

I even leave LOGO on the remote, so when the TV comes on next, if my stbxh picks it up, it's no big deal.

May I add 'amen?'

My ex blames the internet - and people out here - for the end of our marriage. Y'all 'talked' me into this, don't ya know? I can recall working on our back deck in the summer of 2002... if I took a break and went into my office for a few minutes, checking messages out here, she would fly in and start screaming at me.

And I wrestle with PTSD now, rofl.

Sometimes
Sometimes
I see much more than's good for me
The first thing that's on my mind
The last place I look each time

strange- I had exactly the same reaction. People seem to think I wasn't gay until I got online. Never mind that I had wrestled with gender-identity issues as long as I can remember.

More than that- I helped two friends set up their internet on new computers and they both left their husbands and moved into relationships with people they had met online. *I* got implicated in wrecking their marriages!!

Gave the small town i am from something new to gossip about for a while I guess

So many of us were closeted, and a fair amount still are... but a large number started coming out at once, people in their 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's... some in long term marriages, or even who remain in marriages, as despite their inclinations... still love their partner. Those are the toughest and saddest situations
