Good luck tommorow Amy! I'll be thinking about you. How are you anticipating it will go with your Mom?

Regardless of her reaction, or anyone else's hold your head up high.

I'm so glad it went as well as it did. And, wow, what if your mom IS really gay? Now that would be interesting.

I'm sure there will be ups and downs to come, but you've taken a huge first step. Good for you!

Good for you, woman. It's always nice when things finally go the "good" once in awhile. I am really happy for you. Now you are truly free. No more worries about the family....well, maybe.

My sister came to watch me umpire for the first time EVER. In the process of our conversations between games she told me that my brother needed to "protect his children" from knowing about me??? WHAT?!?!? My sister told her kids right away(even though I told her to wait until I told my kids), and her kids were not even a little bothered. It was more of okay, yeah, great, what's for dinner? Anyhow I am too exhausted and pissed off at

Wow! Amy, congratulations! How does it feel to be out now and free to be you. No secret double life. That is what I like about it. So much of the guilt faded when I came out I guess because I was no longer living a lie to everyone around me. Especially my family. It feels good to be free. I wish everyone could be able to feel free too. So manylose family and friends and jobs still it is a shame. You are lucky. And today was a very big step for you. I am so happy for you.
Big Hugs,
Laurie

It's never as quick as we want it to be is it? But, if the 2 of you aren't arguing over anything major it will be faster. I know I got to a point with my divorce that I would have signed my soul over to the devil for it to be over with. It took 9 months total from the day I left to the day it was final.

I hope it's as quick as possible for you so that you can continue to move on with your life.

Hugs,
Shannon

I may be the exception but it wasn't that hard for me.
