TV died. GF bought 42" plasma. Good for Rallysport challenge...
Dog has to have surgery on lump between his toes tomorrow

I find out that my family DOES have a history of early death. I used to have an Aunt Valerie. No information on cause of death, however.

Hey Ven!
Thanks for filling us in.
Hey Ven! Sounds like you've got alot going on this week.
My week so far? It's been ok. I had a meeting with my school counselor on Tuesday. All my paperwork is in order to apply for the respiratory therapy program. YAY! I need to turn that in next week. I'm drowning in school work. I have less than 2 weeks before our 3 chapter huge exam on the entire skeleton. My oral presentation that I have not even started is due a week from today. Guess what I'll be doing this weekend? Shelley's back has been REALLY bad the last few days. There is alot of humidity in the air and it's been chilly. Daphne(my dog) is feeling the cold coming too. Poor thing hasn't been herself. She always gets this way when the weather turns.

Hi Ven... ::hugs::
Sounds like you have been having a crazy week with all sorts of things. I hope next week is a smoother, more peaceful week for ya.
I work full time in marketing/advertising - essentially, I do a lot of product materials for our online and print promotions. I also own my own small business, so I can get kind of busy sometimes (this week was one of those). I work from home which is a mixed blessing (isolation drives me crazy sometimes especially now that I'm single again), but I focus on the word "blessing" and remind myself that I have no commute hassle, reduced dry cleaning and clothing expense, etc.
This week, I had my annual physical which included my "girlie" checkup (the pap) and need to get lab work done, and I see the dentist today.
Say, Picture.....if you have a fireplace you could use the wood, say Thank you for the Gift, and a blessing to the former dog each time you use it...or take a small piece of the wood, make something with it in honor of it.

Hope your DS will be better soon. Sounds like he needs some time to rest and recouperate after all he's been through.
Big hugs
Did I mention that I was conversant in ASL? I taught at a deaf camp for kids for three summers(then the Catholic Church and I REALLY went at it). I teach the "sign of the week" for my students, but I can tell that I am really losing my skills, because I don't have anybody to talk with.

Okay, you have had the good, the bad, and the ugly so far. Good thing that Friday is coming along soon.
My week? Well, it's interesting living alone now. I've worked out like a demon. I am trying to get all the bills in order and other house stuff done like cleaning up the rooms.
I work like a dog. I haven't been out with my friends in over a week and miss the social interaction, but I like the isolation at the same time. Seems like a real dichotomy for me. Maybe next week, I will pick my social calendar up a little. I have two tournaments this weekend. One at the University of Pennsylvania, and the other in Delaware.
Thanks for asking.

No...you didn't mention that. I have been learning a little at a time for years. this is the furthest I have gotten in my studies.I can now carry on (including interpretation if they will repeat it a few times) a conversation about where I live, who and how big my family is, how many brothers & sisters I have, what they look like, school, describing a person, what they are wearing, things about Church, holidays, describing work or pieces of clothing, where I am going store, buying things, directional questions...etc..... . My (now) ex was a math Teacher for the Catholic Diocese years ago (and is Catholic) and she taught a short course too.
We still are gettting to gether and practicing.
