Yes, I have been to a chiropractor. It felt good and one time got rid of my migrain. However I noticed that after a day or so it snapped right back to the bad way it was and I would have to keep going. This was years ago. A friend of mine talked me in to going, because my back was bothering me. It did help temporarily when I did go. I am afraid to go right now because it is affecting at least one nerve. And a compressed disc. I think that the chiropractor is mainly for bones and muscles. I think. Oh well, Hugs,
I have never been to a chiropractor. I am intrigued, but have never followed up on making an appointment. I have heard the horror stories, but have also heard wonderful things about them.
My question this week is "Have you ever seen a Chiropractor?" and was it a good or bad experience?
I haven't ever seen a chiropractor; however my family doctor is an osteopath, so he can do (and has done for me) chiropractic manipulations as well as prescribe meds when needed.
Yes, I have tried a chiropractor on several occasions and each time left feeling sick and sore. My husband has had nothing but success with them and insists they can help me but I've never had a good experience-ever.
I've never been to one, but I've heard good and bad things. From what I can tell, chiropractic care is a lot better than it used to be. My grandmother had lots of back problems and got a quack for a chiropractor a long time ago. He really screwed her up.
Me, personally, I'd probably go to a regular physician first and then if I felt like I needed additional care, I'd probably pursue going to a chiropractor.
