New here! Have Sciatica - anyone else?

Hi! This is my third back surgery, the first two I had pain down my right leg. This time I didn't, I only had low-back pain. They operated last month on my degenerated disk and now I have horrible sciatic nerve pain down my right leg. Is anyone familiar with this and if so, any tips on what to do? I'm terrified of another surgery, as I didn't recover so well from the last one. The pain meds don't seem to be helping the sciatic pain. :(

So glad you found our little corner!!!
I have lots of pain meds. Vicodin, a muscle relaxer, something for nerves, Iburprofen.. Nothing is working, I'm going to get an MRI on Thursday. And I go to Water Therpy everyday....which I love, but pain still there. I can't wait to get to know you all!
