Sorry to hear you are not doing well. When it is gloomy out, I feel like the whole world is sleeping except me. Kind of like everyone else is ok but I am not. It feels very lonely. Talking out here helps me a lot when I get like that. Sometimes I visit people just to be around others or go to a bookstore like Borders or Barnes and Nobles. Where do you live? I ask because we have had the same type of weather here in Ohio. It is very cold now and has been so gloomy even when we had a few warm days recently.

Hi, Terry! I'm sorry to hear about the return of anxiety. I am in the same boat, I think. Either that or I am dying. Have you ever heard anyone so dramatic? It started with just a little constipation & gas. Now, I am nauseated & have some moderate cramping that my mind just can't account for. I have begun to shiver & shake, a sure sign of panic soon to follow. I have been breathing & using the relaxation techniques. Just walking around the house, I feel that I have never walked before. That things just aren't right. Inside I am really shaking & feel so weak. I had to use the bathroom & when I got halfway up the stairs, I thought my heart was beating too fast & I couldn't get my breath. I wanted to call the ambulance, because that used to be the way I dealt with the fear. That has stopped & I must not start that again. I am having hot spells now. My blood sugar is fine. My temp is fine. My pulse is ok.

I am so sorry you're having a rough night! I am proud of you for not going back to old ways that didn't help you. That must have been one hard decision. You have really been through the wringer lately and I do have prayer for you and many positive thoughts. Just know I am here for you and will try to be around more if you need me. Hope dd comes home with the car soon. Take Care!

Hi Jan I just read your post and I am sooooo sorry that you are feeling this way. It almost sounds like you have a touch of the flu or maybe coming down with a cold? I find with either of those it always brings on the anxiety, its funny how we always think everything must be the anxiety, I know I've been doing that alot and then stop and say to myself maybe its something else Brenda like a cold or the flu!!! I do know that whatever your feeling right now that you will come out of it, because you are so strong and smart, you are doing all the right things, just breath and relax Jan. Did you take your clonazepam? Maybe an extra piece would help! I too was feeling some panic this afternoon, first in a long time, so I took my 3 doses of med today, I had been cutting back to 2 a day. I know for me its getting to that time of the month and anxiety is always higher. I hope you have a calm and peaceful nite tonight Jan, do you have some soothing music to play, I find that helps me at night and I play it very softly as I drift off to sleep! Take Care my friend and I will be sending an angel to watch over you tonite!
Big Hugs

Thanks so much, Julie. Right after I posted, a neighbor dropped in. Thank goodness! I focused on her conversation, even though she was upset & the time passed quickly. I am feeling more relaxed & will try to get to bed early. I appreciate your P&PT's. They really helped. I am sure God sent the neighbor because he knew I was afraid. She had only been here once before. Thanks again! (((hugs))) jan

Thanks so much, Bee! I did not feel @ all strong or smart tonight:) In fact, I feel so dumb now that I had myself dead & buried. You are right. I think it was just a flu type thing & was bound to pass. My thoughts were just racing for whatever major illness that would require surgery.

Gee, Terry! I felt awful unloading on you when you weren't feeling so hot. Thank goodness you didn't read my post last night. We ought to be able to get together & suffer this out. Misery loves company. Right?

I did have my days & nights mixed up, but am trying to get back on schedule. I listened to my ocean sounds for an hour on my new alarm, then switched to forest sounds @ 3AM. I slept shortly after that till 6:45. My
