Well it turned out that My DIL came to get me and didn't show any resentment over doing it. It all seemed good. I know I always get myself worked up and uptight and then later it seems like it was such a small deal. But she did say that she would be there yesterday to bring me home and we didn't hear from her. That's ok though. I got the bus home and luckily wasn't scheduled for work this morning or I would have been late! I couldn't come last night though with not knowing how late the busses ran or how long I would be waiting for the bus when it was dark. The only bummer was getting cold!! But I like it better when I take care of something myself without inconveniencing others.
We had a very nice weekend. We walked to the store a few times and watched tv. I had a tape of an old Star Trek: Deep Spece Nine that we enjoyed watching.
I even handled it very well when we suddenly had 8 police officers in the house!!! We just moved into a new place that is owned by a morgage company that Emmette is good friends with the owner. The neighbors didn't know us and called the police about someone entering the house. I knew it was ok for us to be there but if they ran a check on me I have an old warrant for not finishing a probation some time back. Talk about an anxiety attack!! They decided that we were telling the truth (Emmette was in his shorts and I had on my house slippers) and left without incident. Thank goodness! But I can tell you I'm glad I'm not still there now. The lady cop said she was coming back today to make sure we had a letter from the owner stating that we belonged there. The owner did call and tell the lady we were supposed to be there but they can arrest you just for not having ID!!
Have a great day and I'm sure I'll pop back in after I go and get that first paycheck!! Yippeee money!!!!
LOL,
Vicky
I was really amazed at how easily I got myself calmed down from this. It has to be the elavil working!!

I am glad that things went pretty well with your SIL and that you were able to stay calm with all the police around! WHEW!! Keep feeling better! Judy
