My first furbaby now rest w/ the angels

While I was away on vacation my dh bravely helped our first furbaby, Calvin, over to the bridge. Dh did not tell me while I was away and I just found out yesterday when I came home. It took a great deal of strength for me to come and post this but you ladies have always been so wonderful to me and I just wanted to let you know that I probably won't make the chat tonight. I need some time to mourn my precious baby who fought so hard to hold on to life. This was something I had asked dh to do while I was gone because I knew I just would not have the strength to let go. I know that is selfish but I just loved ^Calvin^ so much that I couldn't bear to be without him. Out of love & respect for me dh did what I asked of him.

I'm sorry this post is all out of sorts but as you can imagine so am I.

Hugs & Prayers,

Danielle

I am sorry to hear about this, Danielle. It breaks my heart, as I have watched a pet pass on & know what a loss I felt. Please accept my sympathy. Take your needed rest to remember Calvin & all the good times. You were the best friend he ever had. (((hugs))) jan

My heart goes out to you. I know how devasting the loss of a beloved pet can be. It is good your hubby was able to take care of this unfortunate event for you. I am wishing you much rest and hope your day will be brighter soon.
