Feelings of Unreality, How do you deal?

Hi,I have had a harder week than normal for some reason. My heart has been racing and more extreme feelings of unreality, feeling like I am just 'watching' as the world goes by, and that I am not really here. I know this sounds so crazy. Does anyone else feel this way, and if so, how do you deal with it and bring yourself back from this horrible feeling? This has made me so stressed this week, I have felt my self starting to go into a full p/a but have managed to bring it down. But I hate not having control, and I just want to be normal again. Does anyone have any advice at all? It is so disheartening to feel this way. Thanx so much. hugs, shasta

Hi Shasta, I switched from Paxil CR to Lexapro. I started taking Paxil CR in Nov and gained 25 lbs. I was not happy with that so I switched over to Lexapro this week. Hopefully my body will get used to it. My Dr was going to give me smaller doses and wean me off of it but I started feeling sick and panicky so she upped my dosage. I hope this starts working soon, I missed almost a week of work :(
As for DOOL, I love Bo & Hope as a couple, but of course there's always got to be trouble somewhere and that's where Billie comes in. I think that with this accident and Chelsea's parents dying Billie will feel responsible for Chelsea since she's the same age as Georgia. Wouldn't it be weird if Chelsea turned out to be Georgia?!?! I think she's going to use this to come between Bo and Hope.
You have a great weekend too! My husband's home now and that always makes me feel better :)

Hey Orchid, I too feel LOTS better when my husband is home! :0)
I really hope the medicine change works for you, Keep me posted k?
I am feeling quite a bit better today, but as you know, it can come and go!
I am hoping it stays sunny as that always helps my attitude and way I feel.
Oh as for DOOL, I am almost positive that Bo & Hope are Chelsea's bio parents. She looks just like them and it is funny how she just showed up when Bo & Billie started looking for their daughter...My prediction is that she will need a blood transfusion, everyone will figure out she is adopted, and Bo & Billie will show up as blood donor matches, and they will eventually connect everything...What are your thoughts??
And I always feel sorry for Sami, I think the reason they have her playing a dude 'Stan' is because the actress playing her is on maternity leave, so hopefully the real Sami will be back soon, and her a Lucas can get back together! :0)
Hmmm, Maybe we should start a 'Off Topic' post on DOOL? I would love to hear what other ppl think! Thanx for your post, it cheered me up! Hang in there! hugs to you! Have a great weekend with your hubby! shasta

Shasta,

When I feel like you do, I get on my treadmill and walk until I am exhausted. Also, try writing how you feel down in a journal. IT may give you insight as to what events trigger your anxiety.

Good luck.
