Hi All,
My Mom had emergencey surgery in Jan. (thats is part of what caused my adjustment disorder) well since then she has been showing signs of anxiety. Actually she had some signs before ex. not wanting to drive in traffic and always afraid that someone was going to hit her from behind. She hates traffic so much that she'll go way out of her way to avoid congested places.
Thsi hasn't been a big problem but she seems to ba having more and more problems with this. She seems to be feeding off me and in the past 2 weeks i think that she's had 2 anxiety attacks. She just called me and told me that she's not doing too well today. She said that her heart is just racing and she can't control it.

We live in a 2 family house so she's seen the worst of it with me.
I am just worried because she isn't married and I'm her only child so I have to be the one to help her. She doesn't have anyone else.

She is being treated for ADD and is on stratera. She has an appt. with her pdr on monday but I'm really worried.

Heather

Any Ideas?

I am sorry to hear this, Heather. If your mom has heart trouble or develops chest pain or shortness of breath, she should see a dr. right away.

I can clearly see that you are a *helping* person. That is great! It is necessary for some of the ppl in this world to take care of others. But we all need to take care of ourselves & make time for *us.* Is there someone who can talk to your mom? Someone who
