Rough Week

Hi everyone, I started work this week. It has been so rough. I have had several anxiety attacks and two panic attacks. I am not sure how to deal with this at work. I keep telling myself I am just stressed because of starting work it will get better. It didn't help also that my monthly monster started on my first day. I have an appt with my doctor on wednesday but I am feeling scared that I won't make it. I keep wanting to just run out of there and never go back. I find that I am worse in the afternoon and I am wondering if it could be because my medicine is wearing off then. I take celexa and klonopin at night at about 8:30. Any suggestions for me? I am really drowning here and don't want to lose my job because I can't get a grip. Also can anyone suggest some good self help reading on anxiety. I find that reading really helps me. Thanks

Hi, Candie! I posted this list this morning. You can read more new posts if you click on *more* when you get to the end of *our anxiety discussions.* Have you considered taking the klonopin in the morning? That may cover you through your working hours. Try very hard not to get discouraged. This will pass. You did a very good job facing your fears & going to work in spite of the anxiety. Give yourself some credit! Try not to worry about the appt. until Wed. Relax & pamper yourself this weekend. It's important you see the dr. to report your progress & find out if your meds might need tweaked. Good luck! We care about you. (((hugs))) jan

Hi Candie, maybe you could try to take 1/2 dose at night and 1/2 dose at noon. That would keep your blood levels more even. Also, I find my anxiety is much higher during my period. Just knowing that helps me. Take care. M.
