That's a great idea. I am three years out from regular panic attacks and have only had a few since then (plus some mild symptoms on occasion), so I have some distance from it now. I do, however, feel that having gone through all of this has made me more empathetic and patient with others and myself. In addition, it has certainly caused me to pay attention to my emotions and know myself. As I learned in therapy, this is a constant process as I change and grow along with whatever life throws my way. I really think that I am a better person for my panic disorder - unpleasant as it has been.
