Hi All!
I had an appointment with my new doctor today. He seemed to really take me serious and know about Anixiety and Panic. That is a good sign. He told me that Anixiety is triggered by an event but Panic just happens. That's why panic is so confusing. He told me to up my Prozac to 40mg a day and the Klonopin to 1 pill twice a day. He wants to see me in 3 weeks.
I also asked him about those stomach pains that I have been having. He told me that it is probably IBS (Irritable Bowel Symdrome) he told me to change my diet and that we will probably do a colonoscopy. Tonight the pain is worse in my stomach so I called the doctor. He told me to go to the ER. I told him that it wasn't that bad but if it got worse then I would go. Right now I am just trying a heating pad. Hopefully that helps because I have a meeting to go to and it is bad enough to have the anxiey with out pain.
Does anyone else have IBS in addition to there Anxiety? Any suggestions?

Oh my bad...I misread it. You said last time, I thought you said last night.
I'm glad that your feeling better today. Did the heating pad work? I have one of those herbal packs that you heat in the microwave. That helps with headaches and when I have monthly cramps I put it on my stomach.
I hope you see your Dr. soon, if only for peace of mind for you.
When you had your last ct scan did they see any diverticulosis (the pockets in your colon)?

Was the medicine you used to take librax?
I had a bout with recal bleeding which was caused by colitis. My Dr. sensed some anxiety there and he gave my librax for both things.
That was actually a trigger for me which brought all this anxiety on. I have never had this before.

I have been using the heating pad and that has been helping some. When I went to the ER last year they didn't find anything on the CT. That is why I don't want to go. I don't want to sit there for 5 hours and then leave with no answers.
The only thing is that I get so nervous about the pain that it stirs up my anxiety. But things are getting better and hopefully I can get my tummy back to normal and then I won't worry so much.
