Hi All!

I am feeling so frustrated and angry! My son will not take a nap today which means that I can not take a nap. With the new dose of medication I am very tired and really need my nap. Now I feel so terrible and tired. On top of it all he has been such a bad boy all day.

Thanks for listening I just needed to vent to someone.

Those little angels can have a devil in them, Sarah! LOL If he's anything like my kids, his behavior is the result of not napping.

Sarah,

How old is he? Next time, can you just lay down while he is trying, or even lay down with him? Or you can do a quiet activity like reading or watching a movie. Maybe you can go to bed a little early? Don't know if that helps at all...

Renee,

He is 4 years old. I tried locking his door and then laying down but he just started kicking the door. These meds I am on make me so tired that I feel like I really need a nap. It wasn't just the nap though he was kind of a pain all day.

I hope tomorrow is a better day! I work with 4-year-olds all day, and I know what you mean. I think they all have cabin fever right now, at least here, where it has been raining and still snowing most of the week!

Hi Sarah,
I just wanted to see how your doing today. I hope you having a better day and get to take a nap.

My Boys are 4 and they didn't fall asleep until almost 10pm last night. I though for sure that they'd sleep in a bit today, no such luck. They are tired and clingy. Maybe I'll get a nap...lol

Hi Heather!

Thanks for checking on me. Today has been good. My DH stayed home for an extra hour this morning and took Harrison to preschool so I could sleep in. Then I took Harrison to grandma's after school so I have been having a nice day for myself.

Tonight though we are spose to have dinner at my in-laws with them, my brother in law and his wife and then the 3 of us. I am feeling a little nervous about it. I have had quite a few panic attacks at there house. Hopefully things go well but honestly I am not looking forward to it. I have tried to think of exuses to get out of it but I can't.

Anyway thanks for everything. I hope your day is going well to!

Why can't you just say you don't feel good? My SIL has anxiety, and that's what she does. Or wouldn't they understand? Good luck...
