Suz,
I am so sorry that you have to go through this. Cancer is such a scary thing and when it is the rare variety it makes you wonder why? I have some experince with this because my Dad was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer last summer. He was only the 32nd person in the world to be diagnosed with this kind of cancer. He was so healthy and I just couldn't belive it. He is doing well now and there is lots of hope for him.
I want you to know that you and your DH will be in my prayers!
Sarah
Please know we care and love you,and your husband too.
I am so sorry to hear of his illness, and all he is having to go through.
DO NOT WORRY about being here to support us. More importantly, You need to take care of hubby,YOU and your kids,That is all that should matter.
I am here if you need me, please feel free to email me Anytime.
I will be here for you,if even it is to just listen.
I know I don't know you all that well, but I have been posting here for almost two years, and I know what an inspiration you are, and how much you care about everyone here. But now is the time to take care of you! Let us support you, for once <3
Thank you for sharing this part of your life with us.
I talk to my husband about our group everyday, and he keeps asking me if you and Jan are professional therapists, and I tell him 'No,you are gals that have 'been there and who just care about people' but you 2 are really 'therapists'in a way :0) And I think alot of us forget that you are dealing with the same issues,as everyone else here,(And then some!) So Suz, I look forward to hearing from you, whenever you can post. I want you to know I am praying for your hubby, and hope he isn't in any pain. And am praying for you and your family too. Please let us know how you are doing. I care! Again, email anytime.
BIIIIGGGGG HUGGGGGGG! <3,shasta
Thanks for your kind words, Suz. I hope you know how much it means to me coming from you:)
A support group sounds like just the ticket. Since there's no script written for you & dh under these circumstances, lean on those folks to find your bearings. That balance you always encourage us to find. Just as we rely on your experience here on the board, you can rely on their's.
You are missed here, but as you can see, there's alot of willing & capable hands. That's not to say that you've been replaced. That will never happen! I for one, savor EVERY post you sneak in. LOL Good luck! Keeping you & dh in my T&P's. (((hugs))) jan
Suz,
I am new here so I didn't really notice any difference as far as your posting goes.
Despite what you are going through you still have given me great advice and support, I really want to thank you for that.
I will keep you and your dh in my prayers...
((HUGS))

Hey there Suz, honestly I don't know what to say. Glad you let us know what was going on in your life.My ex- SIL's hubby in his 50's was diagnosed with gallbladder and liver cancer stage 4 about 2 yrs ago. He has wrapped up all his chemo and to there surprise he is in remission. No, its not a cure but they never thought remission was possible, so one never knows. He goes garage selling every Saturday over in Ks.

Just read your post and want you too no that I will be praying for you and your DH . I remember going through Breast cancer with my Mom 19 yrs ago. Right now it is important for you to keep healthy and positive and to spend as much quality time as you can with DH. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
