Hi All,
I am looking into taking a multivitamin. My tdoc said that its a good idea, of couse me being me, I am afraid that I will get too much of a certian vitamin and overdose.

Do any of you take one? If so which one?

I take one called Amini-3, it's not a multi-vitamin, but pdoc prescribed it. She says it helps with depression, as well. I felt best when I took prenatal vitamins, even when not expecting. A friend told me them sell them OTC at Target. I might look for those. I'm like you. Afraid I'll od on some vitamin. How are you doing today? Did you make chat last night? I so needed to be there, but couldn't make it to the computer due to the vertigo attacking!

Equate is the Walmart version of women's One-A-Day. It's the very same vitamin, but not as pricey as the name brand. It would be like buying generic. The same medication, but you don't pay extra for the famous name. IMHO they're just as good & a real bargain.

I don't know what to do with you ladies. LOL

Heather,

I take a multi-vitamin by Puritan's Pride, which I order. They have a website.

If you are worried, you can take one every other day. But, they really have to put so much into those pills, to get all the vitamins in, that you couldn't overdose on one a day.

Dietary supplement just means it isn't a food, or a medicine, just a supplement to your diet, to help you get all the nutrients you need.

Did you know that the B vitmamins in them are wonderful for your nerves? :o)

Hi,I'm ITA with Jan.
We purchase lots of stuff from Wal-Mart under the Equate name and we see no difference.
One helpful suggestions: Take Vitamin's after you eat. Don't take them on an empty tummy. Very Important. It may make you sick to your stomach,if you do.
(At least they have that affect on me)
Just make sure your have breakfast, lunch or dinner before taking them, or at least a snack or crackers. :0)
Hope This Helps! hugs, shasta
