Hi again all. I wanted to also ask if anyone has tried the Lucinda Bassett anxiety program? If so or if you have heard of it what is your opinion or knowledge about it? THanks Amber

Hi Amber,

My brother used the tapes about a year ago and he hasn't had a panic attack since. Not to say he hasn't felt anxious at times, but he said he knows now how to deal with it and not for it to go into an attack. He very rarely now even gets anxious....and he was having panic attacks a few times a week. He gave me a copy of the tapes and booklet and I did start it, but i havent been faithful with it because we are in the middle of house construction now. But as soon as we are done with that, I plan on starting them again...why not?? I'll try almost anything to stop these attacks!!

Take care, Cassia

Hi, Amber! There have been folks here on the board that have read the books written by L. Bassett, as well as followed her tapes. They have been discussed in chat, too. Hopefully someone will post that has first hand knowledge. For now, here's what I found in an iVillage search for Lucinda Bassett. Good luck! (((hugs))) jan

Hello, I have the whole set and books. I feel like her coping skills and such are great and give one such an understanding. I do think they are geared more for the the person who is not on meds. I truly believe if these had of been around for me 20 yrs ago I would be med free and a/p free or for the most part. They are expensive or so I thought, I paid $500 for my set several years ago. My husband got alot of good from them to, helped him to understand what was going on. Like anything else they are something you have to decide whether or not to do. Debbie
