Tom Cruise on Today-What vitamins??

Hi, I just wondered if you guys saw Tom Cruise on Today show talking about how he doesn't believe ppl should take medication for mental illness, and that there is no such thing as a chemical imbalance. I just wondered what vitamins he is talking about that can help ppl like us who do benefit from medications which we are taking to help us thru each day?
I have seen him be very combative about his views on this, but I have never heard him mention what vitamins he believes are helpful.Has anyone heard him say which ones?
Or does anyone know of vitamins that could replace something like xanax, or whatever we are currently taking for our anxiety conditions?
Just was curious of if anyone knew the answer. I know I would rather take something natural than a med too! I just don't know what that would be.
Have a nice weekend! :0)
hugs, shasta
p.s. This post isn't to start a debate about the 'meds vs.no meds' issue. Thanx!

Shasta, Here's a link to the transcript. He didn't say which vitamins just that he was adamently against the meds. That's probably what the Church of Scientology believes.

Thanx for posting that Sheri Ann, I wished the transcript could convey the heated conversation(on Tom's Part). And honestly, the flat out rudeness that Tom Cruise showed. He kept interupting Matt, and basically called him 'an idiot' with the 'glib' comment...too weird!
I was just on the imdb website for Tom Cruise, and boy do alot of ppl have alot to say about this interview. He really upset alot of folks, and I do not blame them at all.
One person had a good point, What is Tom Cruise going to do if someone stops their meds abruptly, because of what he said about taking vitamins/exercising instead of meds-Then something bad happens to that person? That worries me!
I think TC needs to be a little more responsible about what he says because I am sure there are some ppl who look up to him, and value what he says...(I am not one of those ppl! hee hee)
I guess there is another part of the interview tomorrow...
Who knows what this guy will say next! I can appreciate some of his work,But I sure have lost respect for him as a human being. I just don't know where this aggressiveness is coming from, but it is definitley not attractive to me! It's like one minute he is up, then next minute, mad???? What's up with that???
Maybe I should give him one of my xanex?? LOL!
Anyways, Enough of my ranting! ;0P
I wish you a very HAPPY MONDAY!

Thanx Sheri Ann!
There was also another poll during the weekend, but I don't remember what it was now! I am a space cadet today! :0D
Also, Here is what Al Roker said in his blogs,Friday & Today...I think the end of the Friday blog is pretty darn funny! :0p

And I do especially agree with this quote from today's blog.
"One thing I will say, Tom Cruise has done a lot about the discussion of anti-depressants, psychiatry and more by bringing it out in the open and getting people to really talk about it. So to that end, thanks Tom. It is an important topic, and one that needs to be talked about!"

Sorry to keep posting about TC, I guess I am just floored with this recent behavior...
I still am in amazement! hee hee! I hope he hears with ppl are saying/feeling and takes it to heart. Have a nice evening all! hugs, shasta
p.s. Johnny Depp lovers-(myself included-hee hee)He is even mentioned at the end of today's blog from Al. ;0)
