hi i seem to be doing better than i was thank goodness. My question is last week i decided to me a friend of mine at the park to walk the track. i fast walked with her for a mile. We stopped to talk to the kids and i felt light headed i tried not to get scared so i walked over to my son and bent down and tied his shoe it went right away. i felt fine all day except anxious of what happened. I talked to my counseler about it and she suggested it maybe due to walking fast and my body was not ready to fast walk with someone who is in better shape than i am i hadnt walked a straight mile with out stopping in forever when i do walk it is on the road with my son in his stroller so we have to stop to throw rocks in the water etc. she said it also may have been i was breathing to shallow and that caused it. i have been really good about walking everyday since be it in the yard with a pedometer to make sure i have gone a mile or at the park and walk a mile. i now bring water with me and drink it as i walk and the light headedness hasnt happened again. i am walking by myself at my pace and i am sweaty when i get done but i feel fine otherwise just scared it will happen again. i didnt call the doctor cause i felt fine. some thoughts would be great sorry i babbled thanks

It's good to hear from you, Julie & great news that you're coping better with the anxiety. Good for you! I am sure it's taken alot of hardwork to get there. Congrats.

As for the *episode.* It may very well be what your *T* has suggested. I know folks get mad @ me for suggesting that we need to get these things checked out by a health professional. But, that is my advice. Even if it was nothing, it has now become *something* in your mind. If it's going to continue to disturb you, why not get it checked out & find out for sure. Then you'll have some peace of mind. It is no shame @ all to see a dr. It's a good idea to have a check up anyway. Good luck & keep us informed. Sending P&PT's your way. (((hugs))) jan
