Heather -

I'm a big fan of James Patterson suspense books ... but, if you're in the mood for something more "good for the mind" I've heard great things about "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" and "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" ... I haven't read either one myself but have heard through friends that they are good reads ...

What is your general taste in books?

Heather! Have you read Beverly Lewis' series of Amish romantic/inspirational type novels? I just got the latest in the series, *Revelation* & can't wait to get it started. Also, Victoria Holt a famous British historical romance writer had the pen name of Jean Plaidy. I read so many of her books years ago. I am re-reading the series on Henry the VIII's wives. Have you read The Mermaid Chair? I think it's the same author as The Secret Life of Bees. It's wonderful. Get well soon.
