The day after a panic attack does anyone feel shaky and jittery? Also my back hurts, is it from my muscles tightening up during and after the actual panic attack?

Thanks

Yes, I do feel way the day after. In fact in the beginning I felt that way ALL the time until I started taking knonopin.

I also had the muscle aches and stuff. I looked so funny, I would have a heating pad on my back and herbal things all over my neck and stomach.

I believe that it is from stress weather directly from your tightning muscles or just the stress itself.

Hope that helped a bit!

panic attacks can take a toll on you physically as well as emotionally. I must admit that when I get panic attacks I get multiple ones a day, and I always feel weak and shaky the next morning. When my panic gets really bad, I feel like that all the time and I start losing weight. so yes, what you're describing would a normal physiological response to a panic attack.

I have to agree with Heather & Mia. I do alot of shaking when I panic. I do feel like all my muscles have had a good workout the next day. HTH (((hugs))) jan
