Hey guys, I haven't posted in a while. I hope you are all doing well. I am doing better, my panic attacks have gone away completely (yay!) I dont know about you all, but i cannot shake this depersonalization and obsessive thoughts. I always feel like I am in a dream, and things are not real. Also, my obsessive thoughts put me in a day dream mode where I put myself in scary scenerios and then I get freaked out (ie: choking, being raped, etc) Im taking 30 mgs of lexapro and it is helping with the panic but I still just dont feel like myself! Its been about 2 and a half months since I have started the lexapro--am I not giving it enough time-does anyone ever feel these things--whats the deal!? Id appreciate your imput--thank you!

Hi! It's been a long time. We have missed you! That's very good news about the PA's. I am certain you have worked to get to this point. Give yourself some credit that you deserve.

Wow, Jan! What a great thread! Thank-you for reposting it. I hadn't read it before. Depersonalization happens only rarely for me, but it did make sense. When I was driving today & felt lie I wss in an arcade game is a good example, I just didn't feel like I was "there" driving the car. But it has been 6 years since I've driven, so I'm not surprised by it.
