Panic attack with a good ending...

Last sunday I was told that this would be a difficult week and that I would be tested since having just been Baptized. So here is what happened today. I just wanted to share so others know that God does help you in ways that would never guess. I heard and listened to what he told me to do and it helped.

I pray to God when im in fear it helps alot. i hope you are doing better and things are going good. just remember you are blessed with your husband and children and that are mind is just playing games with us.(funny that its easier said then done). well keep up posted. thanks for always being there for me. If you ever need to talk to someone just let me know im avaliable most of the time and even if you need to call me i would be more the willing to give you my number and you could call me when you are feeling bad. i wish sometimes i could just pick up the phone and call someone who acually understand what im going through cause none of my family or friends here around me have GAD. HEATHER THAT WAS WONDERFUL. GOD HELPED YOU THROUGH YOUR PANIC BY USING ANOTHER SOUL. I HAD BEEN RELIGIOUS IN THE PAST AND AM TRYING TO RECONNECT BY PRAYING. YOUR DAY TODAY HIGHLIGHTS THE NEED FOR GOD IN OUR LIVES. THANKS

That was a wonderful & inspiring story, Heather. I am so glad god helped to guide you through what is a terrifying situation.
I too had a set-back about 10 days ago where I had the exact kind of PA. It was just horrible, but I made it thru, and have prayed always, and I know god helped me survive that attack, so that I didnt end up in the ER again. It has been a slow recovery, but I am doing MUCH better!
I am so glad that gal was there for you, She truly sounds like she was a god send.
Doesn't god work in mysterious ways?
Bless you,Heather!

I love that you took initiative and made a friend as a result. I recently did a similar thing (only through e-mail--LOL). Sometimes you have to take a chance and see where God will lead you. It's a choice between being passive or assertive (and taking care of yourself). I'm so glad you made a new friend and got through your panic attack!

Cheers,
