hi ladies...
a few years ago i was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder- something i have been experiencing for most of my life just didn't know there was a name or diagnosis for it.

i have been taking medication for most of the time different ones. i recently switched from luvox to lexapro and i am in a little rut- feeling some of the same symptoms and depression i felt before the medication.

anyway- i just wanted to put this out there to see how others were feeling and see how others have dealt with all this crazy medication and brain activity.

hope you are all well.

Hi, welcome to the board! im sorry you feel like you're in a rut because of the medication. I took lexaparo for a while and it worked really well. However, it does take a couple of weeks to kick in and during those first weeks you may feel a little bit more on edge than usual. It is possible this is what you're going through right now. Give it some time, and you'll be feeling better before you know it.

Hi! Nice to have you here. You are NOT alone. Everyone in our community is dealing with anxiety issues & @ times, depression. Join in our discussions. Post any questions or concerns. Share your fears & feelings, so that others can offer their solutions or new ways to cope. We have chats on Tues. & Thurs. evenings from 9 to 11pm Eastern. The folks exchange alot of med info there. You may find that useful.

We care & want you to feel better. You can learn to live with anxiety. Good luck & GBU! (((hugs))) jan
