Hi everyone it's me!! I'm still here, reading everyday!! I'm still plugging along.

That's an interesting questions. My reason for choosing other, is that what I call a panic attack and what I call an anxiety attack are two different things with the panic attack being the more severe of the 2. I guess what I would call an anxiety attack would be the precursor to a panic attack. I'm feeling really nervous, but still in "control". My heart isn't pounding, but the urge to flee is just under the surface. A panic attack for me would be the heart pounding, cold sweats, racing thoughts, and just wanting to get out of where ever I am(than goodness I don't have these much anymore). Does this make any sense??

I can be really anxious or nervous and not panic. Some days I can work with/through it and not have many problems. Some days it bothers me more than others. Isn't that weird??

I hope this helps!! Chrystal

that's a really interesting way of thinking about it, and i think it makes a whole lot of sense. although, i feel anxious all the time, it doesn't stop me from doing stuff like panic does. i dont use the term anxiety attack though because as i said the anxiety is constant.

I always call it an anxiety attack. I think it might be a little different than a panic attack. Although, the other day, I was just putting my son to bed, and I started to get the cold sweats and getting very nervous. I'm always anxious, but I don't experience the changes in my body like that.
